Draft — legal review pending
A smart collar necessarily handles data about a place and a routine, so the finished policy has to be specific about each kind. The categories it needs to cover:
- Location data from the collar, including location history and its retention period.
- Activity and rest data recorded by the collar’s sensors.
- The safe-zone boundaries an owner draws, which describe a home address.
- Account details: name, email, and the dog’s profile.
- Payment details, and which processor handles them.
- App and device diagnostics.
